Our continued rapid growth including recent projects wins, an increase in workload in projects, and active pursuits has created the need for an exceptional Senior Municipal Project Manager in Vancouver.
The ideal candidate should have a diversified experience in managing municipal projects including linear Infrastructure (sewers & water systems), lift stations, pump stations, and stormwater management. As well as strong business development experience and a well-established client base.
Responsibilities:
· Work directly with the senior team in the execution of various ongoing projects.
· Continue our organic growth and expansion in the water infrastructure market by identifying and leading local opportunities and pursuits in the Lower Mainland and the rest of BC.
· Lead Business Development efforts by assisting in developing strategic growth strategies and capitalizing on previous clients and contacts.
· Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed our quality standards and the project's objectives.
Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:
· Professional Engineering designation (P. Eng.) in the Province of British Columbia.
· Minimum of 10 to 15 years of project management experience and working as part of multi-discipline engineering teams.
· Successful track record in delivering municipal projects to Metro Vancouver and other key municipalities in the lower mainland (Surrey, Burnaby …etc.)
· Strong business development skills and solid contacts.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Senior Project Manager- Recreational Facilities- Edmonton

Our continued rapid growth including recent projects wins, increase in workload in projects and active pursuits has created the need for an exceptional Senior Sports Facilities Project Manager in Edmonton
The ideal Candidate should have an extensive specialized experience in the management of new large recreational facilities (Hockey Arena, Swimming Pool, Curling rink) during various stages of the project from design to construction, and post construction stage.
Responsibilities:
· Report directly and work closely with the Project Director to ensure excellent execution of this major project.
· Work as the project lead and the Client’s trusted advisor on the major project
· Manage all aspects of the project include schedule, cost, Quality, and risk.
· Serve as the single -point -of contract for all external consultants (Engineers and Architects), Contractors and suppliers of this project.
· Act as the owner’s representative onsite and report directly to the client’s executive committee.
· Monitor the progress of the project and report monthly progress to the client’s executive committee.
· Address any issues that could present a risk to the projects with potential negative impact related to schedule, cost, quality in a timely and professional manner.
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
· Previous experience in design and construction of new recreational facilities is a must
· Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) or a Professional Architect (AAA) in the Province of Alberta.
· Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience related to sports and recreational facilities while working as part of multi-discipline team.
· Successful track record in delivering projects within approved budget, schedule, while meeting and exceeding the client’s expectations.
· Previous experience reporting to executives and board of directors.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Willing to relocate or travel during this 3-year project

Senior Construction Supervisor -Edmonton

We combine technical engineering expertise with project management best practice to deliver the best possible outcome for our Municipal and Private sector clients.
Our continued rapid growth including recent projects wins, increase in workload in projects and active pursuits has created the need for an experienced Municipal construction Inspector in Edmonton.
The ideal Candidate should have an extensive site experience in construction supervision and contract administration of municipal water and wastewater projects.
Responsibilities:
· Report directly and work closely with the Project Manager and Engineers to ensure excellent execution of project during the construction phase.
· Act as the Client’s onsite representative in ensuring that all construction activities are undertaken in safe, efficient manner and in accordance with the design drawings and specifications.
· Provide clear interpretation of drawings, specifications, and clarification of all aspects of the design to the contractor.
· Manage the construction progress to comply with the available budget and schedule, including tracking and forecasting costs
·
· Complete ongoing inspections, measurement of quantities for payment and complete daily inspection reports and redline drawings.
· Evaluate, comment, and provide instructions to the contractor regarding on any proposed alternative construction methods, material and any contemplated change notices and change orders.
· Coordinate onsite testing and ensure that testing results are according to specifications.
· Address any site issues and /or concerns by impacted stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
· Address field and design issues, facilitate corrective measures, and perform constructability reviews.
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
· Minimum experience of 7-10 years in municipal construction including Sewers, Forcemains, lift stations, Pump stations. Treatment Plants, storm ponds.
· Background in mechanical and electrical construction is an asset.
· Post-Secondary diploma in Civil Engineering, with minimum of 7-10 years’ experience as construction inspector or supervisor.
· Strong problem-solving ability, interpersonal and communication skills.
· Willing to travel to different sites for a duration of time during construction.
